Excuse me! Fasten your seatbelts, because this clip is jam-packed with excitement. Anyway, what’s up? A swarm of bees has taken up residence in an abandoned cabinet, which you will observe. The household had intended to discard it, but had not done so yet. What a mess!
So, why is bee hive removal so important? For the simple reason that these are not domesticated bees but feral ones. That means they’re not like the docile honeybees you might learn about in school; they’re completely wild and extremely aggressive. As evidence, a lawnmower was stung multiple times on the leg. Ouch! This hive of bees needs to “bee” exterminated immediately. Get it? No more “bee”? Sorry, I just had to make a pun there.
Then, what’s the big deal here? First of all, being stung is extremely unpleasant, especially if it happens more than once. That can cause a lot of pain, and in some cases could even be fatal. Second, wild bees can pose a significant threat. They aren’t confined to their nest but can forage and cause trouble far from home.
Continue watching the video. Our bee expert, dressed like a bee superhero, will enter the hive wearing a specially designed protective suit. They need to be very cautious if they want to capture the queen and all the bees. Leaving the queen behind is like abandoning the hive’s A-lister; you’ll still have to deal with the bees.
After the bees have been collected, they will be relocated to an area far from human habitation. And I promise you, we will fill in that cabinet opening to keep the bees out.
So, press play to see a wild bee being exterminated. An adventure in someone’s backyard, if you will. But if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, remember: don’t handle it on your own. Bees are dangerous, so it’s best to have the professionals take care of it. Have fun watching!
