bee removal
A tiny beehive which was hung out of a branch of an avocado trees had to be removed by me yesterday. Though the beehive wasn’t that big, it had been filled with honey bees. I had been aware that I would be cautious to avoid getting stung, and retrieved my vacuum, which I generally make use of for little beehive extractions. I really like the way the vacuum is able to extract the bees without harming’em so I can easily move them later.
When I saw the tree and discovered the hive was somewhat higher than I’d anticipated but not overly difficult to reach. I started sucking the bees one at a time, as I switched on the vacuum. The buzzing sound was really loud and I could see the bees in a panic flying around as I did the bee removal, but the majority of them entered the vacuum with no trouble. I was able to save the beehive.
