Bee Removal from Two Bee Hives, One Home!

Excuse me! An absolutely bee-mazing bee removal video is about to begin. Here are not one, but TWO hives for your inspection. That’s right; there’ll be twice as much excitement!

BEE HIVE NO. 1 (Lower Right Roof):

Let’s start with the beehive on the right-most eave of the roof. In order to reveal the bees’ secret world, we had to cut a board away. As soon as we removed the blocking, there it was! The busy activity of a hive full of buzzing bees. They are out in the open, doing bee things like making honey and taking care of the queen bee. It’s like taking a sneak peek at a hive of activity!

BEE HIVE NO. 2 (Lower Left Roof Corner):

Keep your hats on for the next clip, because this hive is at least six years old and may be even older. In bee years, that’s antiquity. You won’t believe how much honey and honeycombs we found when we cracked this one open—roughly 30 pounds! We had to get rid of ten major honeycombs! What a trove of honey bee treats!

This beehive display, then, begs the question: why? In any case, bees have been known to choose potentially dangerous locations for their hives. Therefore, we must relocate them. But it’s awesome to see their hidden world up close before we do. Imagine, we got to take a look inside a hive that has been active for six years and full of busy bees.

Also, here’s an interesting tidbit: bees are essential to human nutrition because they pollinate flowers, making many common fruits and vegetables unavailable. Bees are like super-miniature environmentalists.

So press play and get ready for an exciting adventure into the world of bee removal. But keep this in mind: a beehive is not something to be messed with under any circumstances. Get an adult involved or the professionals in. Respect for these hardworking critters and your own safety should be your top priority. Have fun watching!
