These bees were on the inside as well of that cable box as well. There was a small comb that was freshly new. Apparently, it had been there for 3 days. Following this you will see after pics. Apparently, the home owners didn’t know when the swarm of bees had arrived. The neighbor noticed the bees first. They were taking out the trash, when they saw bees flying ahead. That’s when their vision looked to the place the bees were flying to when they saw a large swarm of bees by the cable box, almost engulfing it completely. We vacuumed the bees in this particular case, and was able to relocate them to a beekeeper. When the customer first called us, they were freaking out. We always try to keep the customer calm and give them the best advice. Every situation is different, but safety is our number one concern. After the bees were gone, the customer could finally make an appointment with their cable company to get their cable setup. This was another reason why they had called us.
AFTER BEE REMOVAL:
After the bee removal, the customer was so relieved that the worse was over that they were super pleased. The box was easy to open as well. In some cases, the box has a lock on it that prevents us from opening it. In that case, we would need assistance from the cable company in order to open the cable box, and remove the bees. The bees were removed safely, and the customer was happy. I’m sure the neighbor was also relieved that he won’t have to deal with the bees every time he takes out the trash. We also spray an anti pheromone spray that will help reduce the chances of the bees from coming back. Bee Safe.
