You will notice that a beehive has set up shop in a forgotten cupboard. The family had planned to throw it away but hadn’t gotten around to it yet. Holy chaos!
Then why all the fuss? To begin, being stung is very painful, especially if it happens repeatedly. That’s a major pain and, in extreme cases, a death sentence. Second, bees in the wild can be a serious danger. They are not confined to their nest and can wander far and wide in search of food and mischief.
In order to enter the hive, our bee expert will don a superhero-style bee suit. If they want to get the queen and all the bees, they need to be very careful. Abandoning the queen is like ditching the lead singer of the band: you still have to deal with the rest of the band, the bees.
Once the bees have been gathered, they’ll be moved to a remote location. We will seal off that gap in the cabinet.
Do not attempt to deal with a similar situation on your own, though. Bee removal should be left to the experts due to the dangers involved.
