Bee Removal From Under Soffit

You’re about to witness something interesting and challenging all at once in this video. A little beehive was discovered under several planks of wood. It wasn’t as easy to remove the boards as you might imagine. There were many factors that necessitated our utmost caution.

To begin, bees have crucial roles in the natural world. They produce honey and aid plant growth by dispersing pollen. However, if you bother their nest, they may become angry and sting you. We didn’t want to scare the bees by suddenly ripping the wood away.

Before beginning, we donned protective gear meant to stave against bee stings. It was almost like we were preparing for a space expedition! Then we rounded up the equipment we’d need to remove the wood gently without disturbing the bees.

We set to work, having devised a strategy. We carefully and methodically removed the planks using a crowbar and a hammer. One of us even propped up the hive with a board to keep it from collapsing on the floor. It was quite tight, like a game of Jenga where the bees may fly out if you made a mistake.

While doing this, we made an effort to keep our voices down so as not to frighten the bees. It may sound absurd, but some people believe bees become agitated by loud noises. Therefore, we attempted to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

It took us approximately 30 minutes, but we managed to remove the last plank of wood. Now we could see the entire bustling beehive. Intriguing, right? No one was stung, and the beehive wasn’t spooked. But if you ever come across a beehive, keep in mind that you shouldn’t touch it unless you’re an expert. It’s safer to let the professionals take care of it.
