Today we tackled the process of a beehive removal from a low hanging branch today in a yard. I had been cautious as the hive wasn’t big but there were numerous bees buzzing about. I could reach the branch easily since it was right above my head, though I knew I needed to be cautious to stay away from some issues with the bees.
To start with, I wore long sleeves, protective gloves along with a net-covered bee hat to avert stings. I knew that remaining calm was essential as the bees might be aggressive in case they felt threatened. I put in a ladder beneath the branch and utilized a special vacuum created for bee removal. I make use of this tool for bee control as it captures the bees properly without hurting the bees.
Once I was on the ladder I very carefully positioned the vacuum near the hive and began the bee removal procedure.
